Kathleen A. Curran-Meier has lived and worked around the world since 1980. She has "been there" and experienced first-hand the challenges of adapting personally and professionally to new cultures, and effectively achieving key objectives in the process. Her credentials include:

  • 15 years of servicing multinational corporations, local organizations and private associations in global competency and intercultural strategy development, global leadership skill development, culture-specific business briefings, multicultural team and workgroup development, cross-cultural management, international human resource policy assessment/planning, and global relocation training
  • Coaching, consulting and training experience in the government, telecommunications, energy, pharmaceuticals, service, banking, manufacturing, advertising and education sectors

  • 9 years in advisory and leadership positions in non-U.S. organizations in Singapore and Malaysia

  • 3 years in advisory and liaison role to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and King Saud University, with the Saudi Arabian Educational Mission to the U.S.

  • Faculty positions in Business Management and Communications Departments of: Institut Teknologi MARA, Malaysia; University of Maryland -European Division/Asian Division; Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore; Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Singapore Campus.

  • B.A. in Linguistics, M.A. in Intercultural Communication from the University of Texas at Austin; Certificate from Corporate Coach University

  • Active membership and participation in SIETAR (International Society for Education, Training and Research), HODN (Houston Organization Development Network), ICI (Institute for Intercultural Communication)
